In their zeal to preach the right wing's gospel about how evil "political correctness" is an affront to good and decent Americans, it would appear that Fox & Friends just might have created a Fox fact out of thin air or something far more earthly.

On yesterday’s Your World, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) did her part to exploit the White House controversies by a) likening them to Watergate, b) suggesting that the Obama administration stole the election via the IRS, c) calling for the repeal of Obamacare and d) suggesting that President Obama deliberately let four Americans die in Benghazi because he thought it would help him get re-elected.  Host Neil Cavuto was on hand to help make her look credible. He introduced her appearance by saying she’s “demanding a lot more answers from the White House and, Congresswoman, you’re saying you’re not getting any, right?”

Last night, Major Garrett, formerly of Fox News but now with CBS News, reported that Republican-leaked emails that supposedly showed President Obama had meddled with talking points about the attack on Benghazi last September 11 - well, didn't. And how did Fox News react to this? By more or less ignoring it - and demanding further investigation.

Last night, The Daily Show lambasted the appearances of Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld on Fox News where they and Fox had the audacity to pretend they had enough national security cred to lecture President Obama about Benghazi.
