I was up until 4am  last night trying to debug an issue with the security plugin software that was added a few weeks back. When that plugin was active it prevented the Feedgator “cron job” on the server from running. Over the past week or two I had been working with the developer of the plugin via his online support forum trying to solve the problem and taking his suggestions. For those who are not familiar with “Cron jobs” – they are php scripts that are set up to run automatically at a preset interval on the server hosting the website – no user intervention needed. Without that cron job, I had to manually initiate the Feedgator import script every hour or so in order to keep the feed articles (relatively) up to date. The cron job script was set to run automatically every 15 minutes.

Anyhow, I'm happy to reports that I finally figured out how to bypass the security plugin when the script was being run from the host server. So the “latest” articles shown should be a little more up-to-date from this point forward.

On a post-note to the "Cleve" haters of the world... I hope you are enjoying yourselves - patriots and "real Americans" who are so productive to society that all they seem to have time for is spreading their hate and initiating vindictive attacks on those who disagree with their worldview. I could just as well do the same things you Einsteins are doing. That is, create a new account on a website that I have been banned from using a different IP and email account for an alternative identity. Been there done that. It gets really old after a while and is far more trouble than is worth. I'm content with leaving you to your sandbox of hate after my experiment of throwing some of that sand in your faces.

It seems that "Vet" (and "killa"?) at Newsbusters is so obsessed with hate that poor little Johnny can't stop himself from using the only "guest" contact form at liberalroundup.com to spam the admin email account with a new series of rants calling me the F word, libtard, idiot, or a few other choice names every few hours. He seems to think that I am unable to stop his 12-year-old childish antics. No, I can't stop him from being a child, but he should realize that no one ever sees his childish vile expressions of hate unless I decide to expose them - and deleting them is no big chunk of skin off my back. And, they only provide evidence should I decide to file a claim against him in court if his antics become any more excessive or threatening. There are laws against such things - but of course people like little Johnny think the laws don't apply to them. He should also realize that providing an online contact form to guests, including the real "idiots" who might abuse it, is not an indication that I can't control access or was "just making up" my history of computer experience, as has been central to his attempted narrative. (The form is there mostly to assure that anyone who has problems with registration or login has a means of contacting us to let us know about the problem.) These types of people, so obsessed with their vindictive hate, never cease to amaze me. It borders on psychopathic, really. These people need help.
