BTW, this speaks as much to the legitimacy of conservative "think tanks" like the Heartland Institute as it does Rick Santorum. I can't for the likes of me understand how people like this are allowed to speak such obviously blatant lies to an audience of sheep who soak it in as if it must be fact. It is all sooooo "Fox News" - and therefore a blueprint example of just what the Republican Party has become. There needs to be some sort of "truth in journalism" laws in this country where media sources that spout such nonsense are forced to publicly admit to and apologize for their lies.

This reminds me of a joke - I think from Ron White or George Carlin. It goes something like this:

"Have you been reading about all these teachers getting arrested for having sex with their students? It's quite scandalous. Why the other day it happened where I live, and it hit the newspapers the next day - and it caused quite an uproar.
What made this scandal worse was that this student was being home schooled."

Geez Vog - you are on top of things, aren't you? You responded before I could even fix the link to the Maddow video and add an afterthought.

Actually I had been wondering why this whole Santorum home schooling his children thing made me laugh until I remembered the joke and that just "iced" it for me.
